Happy New Year!! We had 24 members at our December meeting. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 13th at Kiernan’s Pub at 66 North Street in Pine Bush at 7:30pm. If you have not renewed yet, this will be your last newsletter.
The Christmas Party was a great success! Thank you to all those that attended and brought a dish. Please send me your pictures or post them to our Facebook page!
NYSSA Super Raffle Tickets are still available. These tickets only cost $5 each and there are too many prizes to list. This raffle is also a fund raiser for our club. Please pick some up at the January meeting from Barbara, or contact me and we can mail you some! Don’t forget the club’s Super 50/50 Raffle tickets also; this drawing will be held at our club meeting in April.
A Club Trip has been planned to the Ridgeview Lodge in Lowville, NY for February 5 – 7th. 20 Rooms are reserved under the Club name! The phone # is 315-376-2252. I know everyone is concerned about snow conditions, but make your reservations now, you can always cancel. The cancellation policy is 48 hours. Once that snow comes, the rooms will book up quick! Let me know if you plan on attending and the # in your party!
We are anticipating a second Club Trip for the weekend of February 19th – Feb 21st. Hoping for a new location, but waiting and watching for snow! ALL ideas are welcome!
The NYSSA/ACSA scholarship application is available. There are 2 – $500 scholarships and 2 – $1000 scholarships. The application must be received by February 29, 2016. I will have a few applications available at the next few meetings or get it online at www.nysnowmobiler.com
The NYSSA Annual Forum will be held April 29th – May 1st in Lake Placid, NY. Early registration is only $50 ($30 pp savings from last year). Any club member interested in attending the education classes, please let us know as soon as possible. The Club covers your registration and room! Check out NYSSA’s website for further details – www.nysnowmobiler.com.
Please remember to save all your gas receipts for gas used in your snowmobile! Either fill out the attached refund application for yourself – or let’s pool all our receipts – hand them in at any meeting. We are entitled to a refund of $.08/gallon!
